What was the highlight of Hotel Ohtels Belvedere
Good
Rooms and facilities as in photos. Easy to swap eve meal for lunch if desired. Fresh towels and bedding regularly. Restaurant meals and variety v good, freshly squeezed O.J every morning omelettes made to order were delicious. TIP - There is a special buffet section on the left side of the restaurant, which has a different selection of treats every mealtime. Pool games daily. Pool slides kept kids entertained and the smaller kids pool was fantastic for babies and kids of all ages. Air-conditioning was included and room quiet and comfortable.
Queues!!! Be prepared to get up very early for a sunbed. If you want a bed around the pool queues, start from 8 am as it is roped off until 9, then it's a mad dash for beds. We had no problem as up early then breakfast at 8 when there is no queue. Despite signs advising busiest periods people still arrive in droves for the later part of mealtimes and queues are very long. TIP go in the first half, no queue and much more leisurely experience. Rooms could do with drawers and maybe a mirror outside of bathroom but we managed without. Maid service hit and miss, arrived to clean room but when pulled back sheet, bed had not been changed. Reception fixed this quickly and we had no other issues. This is a good 3 star hotel. Eve entertainment we only saw the night we arrived and it was poor, but can't comment on other nights as we went out.

3 star and a half
I love the big space in the lobby. The big couches and the big mirror. it is not overcrowded.
3 star and a half because it is good but can be better. Spa needs a big renovation (smell of sewage), the pool needs more umbrella, the girls at the bar beside the pool needs to smile more at the counter and try to speak in English when talking to her own colleagues. Signs to say clean the table after yourself should be highlighted as there were rubbish, used glasses and uneaten food. The cafeteria bar tenders are so slow in serving. Twice I went there and I had to go to the bar beside the pool. Rooms are kept clean everyday, however they don't clean under the beds and the floor could do more brushing, mopping. Then maybe vacuuming properly the carpet along the corridor. Retouch of paint on the wall and shelves on the head part could be a good addition. Love the veranda space and drying rack. Buffet breakfast was lovely. Would put the omellete and egg frying in one place. Then keep pancake and churros together as is. I'd love to have peppers and tomatoes on my ommelette pls. Maybe put 2 people doing the omellette. Would recommend if you leave the toasting of bread to people because no one likes cold toasts. If they can put a full body mirror in the room that would be great. Kettle and iron with ironing board should have been provided on all rooms if the cafeteria servers are so slow.
